• Jennifer Redfearn’s documentary “Sun Come Up” was edited by Brooklyn Vitagraph’s David Teague and had its world premiere at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival 2010. “Sun Come Up” is currently on the festival circuit.

• Cynthia Wade’s new documentary “Born Sweet” had its world premiere at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival! Brooklyn Vitagraph’s David Teague edited the film and was one of the lead cinematographers. The Sundance shorts jury awarded “Born Sweet” an Honorable Mention in Short Filmmaking and the film has gone on to win six other awards.

Brooklyn Vitagraph? The Brooklyn Vitagraph (vie-ta-graf) Company takes it name from Brooklyn’s silent film era Vitagraph Studios (1906 – 1925). The old Vitagraph Studios produced films on Avenue M in Midwood, Brooklyn, and the original smoke stack still shows the Vitagraph name.
