Brooklyn Vitagraph? The Brooklyn Vitagraph (vie-ta-graf) Company takes it name from Brooklyn’s silent film era Vitagraph Studios (1906 – 1925). The old Vitagraph Studios produced films on Avenue M in Midwood, Brooklyn, and the original smoke stack still shows the Vitagraph name.
